I Live, breathe & love all things dog! I have owned cats & dogs all my life & decided to turn my hobby & passion into my dream job.
I am fully qualified to city & guilds level 3 professional dog stylist, canine first aid trained & hold various certifications for seminars attended over the years including: Canine health, Nutrition, Zoopharmacognosy & TTouch . I Studied for three years at Myerscough college, Preston gaining a FDSC foundation degree sciences UK in canine studies.
I am owned by three Alaskan malamutes who i successfully show at championship level across the UK & Europe.
All grooming sessions start with a multi point health check, looking for any common health issues. This includes eyes,ears,nose,skin & coat,nails, dew claws and pads. A health card is completed and updated every groom.
A through brush & comb before bathing checking for any matting and removing loose hair.
Bathing using shampoo appropriate to dogs skin & coat, conditioner if needed. First class hypo-allergenic products used.
With a hand held combi dryer using brushes appropriate to coat & dog size
(no cabinet dryers)
Scissoring or clipping to style/shape dogs coat
Sessions finished with doggie fragrance.
